Women Onside is seeking to appoint a co-opted Director to fill a vacancy until November 2023. The new Director will bring experience in marketing and sponsorship acquisition. To be appointed as a co-opted Director you must be a member of Women Onside. Ideally we are seeking a person with some governance experience or qualifications, and have a genuine commitment to Women Onside and its purpose, behave in a way that is values-aligned and be able to make the necessary time commitment required.

Selection Criteria
We are seeking a commercially astute person with proven knowledge and experience in sponsorship acquisition and marketing with the ability to identify and source income streams.
Additional criteria:
Previous experience in board management, governance, constitutions and strategic planning;
Football knowledge and/or experience as a player, coach, administrator or referee.
Understanding of advocacy and policy;
Strategic management experience in business, government, sport or not-for-profit organisations;
Excellent communication skills along with excellent relationship skills, to manage a variety of stakeholder relationships;
Valuable networks within the Australian business community, and/or Government.
