We have added the well-known football writer Molly Appleton to our governance team as Company Secretary. Recently appointed by the Women Onside Board, Molly is a law graduate from the University of Tasmania and works currently as a journalist at The Advocate Newspaper in Burnie, Tasmania.
Women Onside Chair Kerry Harris said that Molly’s appointment is a win-win. “We have set ourselves an ambitious agenda for 2022. Molly’s skills, personality and football knowledge will complement the Women Onside team and we look forward to making an impact this year.” Kerry said.
Molly – with her trademark enthusiasm – says she is stoked to play a role in changing football. “I’m looking forward being part of growing future opportunities for women in football. And using my law degree”, Molly said.
