Kate Anthonisz

Director

Kate has been involved in football from a young age, playing as a Goalkeeper in the NSW Premier League 1 (NPL1) competition for teams like Sydney University, and Northern Tigers, and her final season with Sydney Olympic. Kate has been involved with the Western Sydney Wanderers and Sydney FC football programs and has represented NSW. She also had a season with T.E.K Utd in the Irish Premier League. In 2023, you’ll find Kate commentating for her now ex-teammates in the upcoming NPL1 competition. 

Kate brings a tonne of energy to advocating for inclusion, mentoring and the joy of Goalkeeping in Women's Football. Working with the Goalkeepers in the ParaMatildas program highlights that everyone should have a rightful place in Football, and she hopes to continue to inspire future Keepers in this program. She is passionate about mentoring upcoming and future Goalkeepers on and off the pitch.

Kate is the 2023-24 APAC leader for the Women+ Employee Relations Group (ERG) at Atlassian, ensuring women have a voice in the technology industry and creating programs that help focus on gender equality.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Economics from Sydney University and a certificate in Business Skills and Management from the University of Oxford.
